FEES, CHARGES AND REFUNDS

Tuition fees

Laurus Higher Education is committed to ensuring our annual fees are fair and represent good value for money for our students, they are set in accordance with relevant legislation.

Each year in August, the Board review the fees for the forthcoming year and the confirmed figure will be shared on our website and directly with all currently enrolled students in October.
LHE offers a number of options for students who cannot meet the standard payment deadlines for their fees and charges, students should contact the Student Experience Team for further information.

Our Fees and Charges Policy explains how we determine and administer fees and charges; it should be read in conjunction with the Refund Policy and Refund Procedure.

Laurus Higher Education's Tuition Protection Service gives international students the peace of mind they need to do their best work.

Tuition Protection

In the unlikely event that LHE is unable to deliver a course in full, international students enrolled in that course will be offered:
* a refund of their unspent fees which were received by LHE; or
* enrolment into an alternative course.

If LHE is unable to provide a refund or a place on an alternative course, in accordance with the Education Services for Overseas Students Act 2000 and National Code of Practice for Providers of Education and Training to Overseas Students 2018, the Tuition Protection Service (TPS) will assist you in finding an alternative course or to obtain refunds if a suitable alternative course is not found.

Further information on the TPS is available at International Students – Department of Education, Australian Government.
